I haven't yet reached the minimum number of drives to backup all the drives on my Macs, but now I'm worried about AFP performance and the time it will take to initially backup 15GB of data. Android v5.0-Easy connect WiFi barcode-Verified on Android Pie.
I setup this separate UnRAID box specifically for automated Time Machine backups. for Mac OS X 10.9+ Android Phone and Table. WebObjects was included with the server package. The updated uninstaller is also included and is Mac OS X 10.5.x compatible. It is fully compatible with Mac OS X 10.5.x (Leopard). This release supports additional printers and offers some important bug fixes. There are other performance issues, such as creating new folders via AFP when there several hundred files/folders within the target folder on the UnRAID server but having to wait up to several minutes for the Finder to "refresh" showing the new "untitled" folder so that I could then rename it, and then waiting yet more time for the new name to actually take hold. The first version of Mac OS X Server, released on Maand dubbed '1.0' was a hybrid of OPENSTEP from NeXT Computer and Mac OS 8.6.The GUI looked more like OPENSTEP did, with an emulation layer for running legacy Mac OS 8.6 based applications. The only time I access my server via SMB on my Macs is if I want to access a share set as hidden. This software is deprecated, but once the other pieces of software are installed (steps 1 and 2), it works amazingly well and mounts your remote server to your specified mount point (I like to specify my desktop (at /Users/megatron/Desktop/).You won't cause problems using SMB on a Mac but using AFP will get you substantially better performance and if you want to use your unraid server as a Time Machine destination you need to use AFP anyway. I'm not certain this is necessary, but in the past it proved critical for proper functioning of MacFusion in the next step. I also selected the "MacFUSE compatibility layer" option during the installation of OSXFUSE because I believe that removes existing (non-functional) builds of MacFUSE from your computer. Here are the steps I followed, and I'm not entirely certain all of them are necessary, nonetheless, these are all of the software packages I installed: Feel free to update or comment if you have better alternatives.
I'm including my own solution here for posterity. High Sierra running Server 5.4 seems to be the last server combination that acts as a server, but Apples online instructions of how to update the server from previous versions (e.g., 5.2) has failed on two separate systems.
